Seriously it is true. Every human is alike. And not just in some abstract biological sense; they are
like you. Your internal thoughts, feelings, and emotions have their analogue in every person you encounter. So much war and violence would be avoided if this were universally recognised.
A corollary is that all human behaviour is comprehensible - you can find within yourself some part that relates to, something that gives understanding of any behaviour you witness, no matter how bad. And the things that would lead you to it are likely the same as those which led your subject to it.
