Personal Philosophies

Everyone is like you

Seriously it is true. Every human is alike. And not just in some abstract biological sense; they are like you. Your internal thoughts, feelings, and emotions have their analogue in every person you encounter. So much war and violence would be avoided if this were universally recognised.

A corollary is that all human behaviour is comprehensible - you can find within yourself some part that relates to, something that gives understanding of any behaviour you witness, no matter how bad. And the things that would lead you to it are likely the same as those which led your subject to it.

Thanks go to Jane Espenson for this insight.

Many more, many many more

Many more philosophies to go here. I've only been motivated enough to add my first (below) and most important (above) philosophies so far.

Little list: clubs.

People can tell when you're looking at them

This may sound obvious, but it took me until 2nd year of uni to work this one out. I'm a later bloomer, ok? :)

Whatever did all those girls on buses think?
